Six Years of Zlin

The film depicts a six-year period under the Nazi oppression in the city of Zlin. It displays bilingual signs, a lack of food and petrol. People are preparing for and protecting from bombing, they are building bomb shelters. Several anti-raid trainings are shown (fire stations, factory). The scenes of actual bombardment are included (11/1944), when a factory before and after the event is displayed. The film concludes by a demonstrative replacement of Nazi symbols for the symbols of USSR. The freedom brought by the Red Army is celebrated, the reconstruction of ruins is observed and the bombed factory is again in a full production.
